Each episode involved flashbacks to different periods of history triggered by the discovery of a vital piece of archeology.  These artefacts were specially made, often in several versions, as they were shown decayed in the ground and then in their former glory.  These artefacts were seen in close up and therefore had to be to museum standard and historically correct. I designed all the props shown and oversaw the production of them at the prop makers Keir Lusby’s.
